I have began working on an UltraHD Texture pack for Doom using my own work with aid from custom filter forge filters, and also for the decor on some textures I worked from Images from a customised google search for those filtered by licence "to use, share or modify" to avoid any legal complications.  The texture pack is of massive resolution and may take a year or more to complete.

I will probably still use the original Evilution sky in another area as I really like it, but this one is more faithful to the original, albeit much higher resolution so is replacing the first sector of Final Doom: Evilution.

The skies on Final Doom: Evilution will be half the resolution in the Risen3D pack then it will in the GZDoom pack  This is because I had to tile the texture 4 times horizontally as a workaround for the streth issue.  This issue was 1 quarter of the texture stretched to fill the sky, distorting the image and reducing quality severely.  However 4 tiles of this texture is 16384x2048 which drastically exceeds Doomsday/Risen3D's maximum texture size of 8192 and triggering a crash loading all levels that use the texture, so it had to be halved to 8192x1024 to not crash Doomsday/Risen3D the GZDoom 3.1 (64bit) isn't as picky with texture dimensions and runs the 16384x2048 skies without an issue.
